11th/12th Century
Long Tunics
Long Tunic with Contrast Collar
Our Standard Long Tunic is a Norman style, 11th Century tunic. However, variations of this tunic were worn for centuries. The classic A-line style design with underarm gussets (except for small and medium) flatters any figure. We make our tunics out of 100% medium weight flax linen at 5.3 oz. per yard. The collar is made of contrasting linen, and is edged with hand stitching done in a coordinating wool yarn for period flair. The standard tunic can be worn by men or women.

Surcoat
Classic Surcoat
The surcoat is a very versatile 11th/12th century garment which was worn by both sexes and as both military and cvilian attire. Our surcoats are made of 100% medium weight, 5.3 oz per yard, flax linen. The surcoat is completely lined with the same linen, and there are no seams showing. They are sleeveless and have a slit in the front and back. You may special order additional slits on each side if you need more freedom to mount your steed!
This style is available in brown, black, forest green, brick red, and blue. We can trim your surcoat or embroider your device on the chest for an extra charge. This is a very durable surcoat that will wear well if you choose to wear over your armor!
